PUPPY PROCESS
WHAT YOU GET.
When you purchase a puppy from KCountry Kennels, it will have been carefully selected by Kelly to meet the requirements you have requested. Your puppy will have had its 1st puppy vaccinations and will have been de-wormed several times along with preventative chiropractic adjustments. Your puppy will be tattooed on the ear with its identification.
Puppies come with a health warranty for major hereditary defects up until two years of age. You will receive its CKC registration within six months of date of purchase.
HOW THE PUPPIES ARE RAISED.
Your puppy will have been put through early scent introduction, early neurological stimulation and early sound introduction.
Puppies starting at 3 weeks old get a new obstacle to play and explore in or around to stimulate them everyday with a new experience.
Your pup will be toilet trained in the puppy rearing area, which will allow simple and quick transition to house training.
Your puppy will start its obedience training at six weeks of age. By the time the puppy goes home at eight weeks of age, it has been taught to here, sit, heel right side, heel left side, here on a whistle command, sit on a whistle command, sit for its food bowl, down and introduction to place board.
COST.
A $500 deposit is due when the puppies are 3-4 weeks old in order to reserve your spot. Puppies will be reserved based on sex and color. Final puppy selection will be chosen by Kelly according your requests and the puppy’s drive level and trainability. If litter size, color, and sex requirements limit the selection process and your requirements cannot be met, you can either change to the opposite sex/color of same litter (if possible), or you can elect to have your name put down on a subsequent litter.
Total cost for a KCountry puppy is $2,500 + HST.
NON-BREEDING CONTRACT.
You will be required to sign a non-breeding contract when purchasing a KCountry Labrador. If you’d like to breed with your KCountry Lab, then please contact Kelly for the breeding requirements.

You will receive email that there is a puppy for you

Puppies are walking & socializing
Puppies get moved from welping box into puppy pen
Toilet training begins
Introduction to obstacles and sounds

5-6 WEEKS OLD
Puppies are weened off the mother
Begin eating solid foods
More stimulation obstacles

Prey drive evaluation begins
7-8 WEEKS OLD
Preventative chiropractic adjustments made
Vet checked vaccines
Owner pairing selections
Email sent to begin arranging pickup days
PICKUP DAY
